Steam distillation
Steam distillation is a classic technique that allows essential oils to be extracted from plants and flowers. At Laboratorios Prady, we work with the most prestigious distilleries, which in turn have advanced equipment that guarantees pure, high-quality essences, preserving the most delicate properties of natural ingredients.
Solvent and CO2 extraction
Through solvent extraction, our suppliers are able to isolate the most complex aromatic compounds from materials that are not suitable for distillation. In addition, they use carbon dioxide in a supercritical state, a cutting-edge technique that preserves the chemical structure of the compounds, achieving sophisticated and versatile fragrances.
Enfleurage
This artisanal technique, although less common in the modern industry, is one of our favorites for capturing the most fragile aromas. It involves placing delicate flowers on vegetable fat to absorb their essential oils, obtaining a unique aromatic profile. We know that partner is the right one for each technique.
Stabilization and aging
Once the fragrance has been formulated, an essential stabilization process begins. For weeks or months depending on the type of product, the perfume is left to rest under controlled conditions to allow its components to fully integrate.
